Great sound and loud!!!

Two friends of mine had this horn on their bikes, so I knew what to expect before I purchased one for my bike. It took about 2 hours to install. Had to purchase a new bracket to mount the horn. from Home Depot. I did purchase the relay install kit along with the horn, but also purchased three rolls of extra wire in the colors as the kit since the wire in the kit was exact and did not allow much room for error. Overall excellent sounding horn. You will be heard when it is time to grab the attention of a driver who didn't see you in the blind spot or who is on the cell phone, and didn't look before changing lanes.

Had professionally installed, worked for about a week now sounds like a dying duck! I'm going to purchase another because I think it's an important safety feature - stay tuned.

All That I Expected - Good Looks and Loud!

I purchased the chrome model for my VTX1300R and mounted it in the same place as the old beep horn using the same old horn bracket. If you're not familiar with fuse wires and such, I'd purchase the wiring kit. I placed the relay switch and fuse wire under the seat for easy access and battery hook up. I ran the other (2 to the old horn connections; 2 to the new horn) wires from the relay switch under the tank following the wiring harness to the old horn wire connections and to the new horn. The wiring diagram that comes with the horn/kit can be a little confusing but it's accurate. Since I'm slow and methodical, it took me 2 hours to install. However, it worked the first time I tried it. Now I have an air horn for safety plus compliments the look of the bike!

I love this new horn, and so do the guys who ride with me. It is sooooo much better than the OEM horn that came on my roadstar. I don't use my horn much but when I do I can now really be heard.
